All our Nature & Respect birds can come outside in the open air all year long.
While this can be a tough period for us, free-range birds do not fear the cold of winter, but rather moisture. That’s why the farmer takes care to keep indoor shelters dry by means of good ventilation and clean and dry bedding.
Both winter and summer, our birds’ hatches are opened at 9 in the morning. The birds can then go in and out as they please until nightfall. They use natural shelter such as trees and hedges to protect themselves when it rains or snows.
We also make sure they receive a balanced diet so that they can manage their own energy resources and get through the winter in good health.
