Lemon chicken from the oven

Juicy chicken with a citrus fresh twist. Enjoy the perfect mix of crispy skin and tender meat. A simple recipe that will tantalize your taste buds!

Ingredients

  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 300 g potatoes
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 lemons
  • 4 stems thyme
  • 2-3 stalks rosemary
  • 150 ml chicken broth
  • 1 tsp ginger (grated)
  • 1 tsp paprika powder sweet
  • 2-3 spring onions
  • salt & pepper
  • some olive oil

Preparation

  1. Heat oven to 180 degrees (top/bottom heat).
  2. Wash chicken thighs, pat dry.
  3. Wash potatoes and make several parallel cuts.
  4. Coat roasting pan with a little olive oil.
  5. Spread sliced onions. Place chicken thighs and potatoes on top.
  6. Sprinkle salt, bell pepper, paprika, finely chopped garlic and grated ginger evenly and spread lemon slices.
  7. Pour lemon juice and chicken broth over it, spread herbs.
  8. Cook chicken thighs in the oven for 60 minutes with the lid closed.
